Welcome to Walsingham Primary School
Welcome to Walsingham Church of England Primary School. Walsingham is a small primary school set in a unique historical village, close to the North Norfolk coast. The school itself is a typical Victorian building with three classrooms and a small hall with plenty of space in which our children can learn. We have a large playground, with a fenced off play area for the youngest children. The school also has use of a large playing field with an environmental area tucked away in one corner.
Children come to the school from the neighbouring villages of Egmere, Barsham, Wighton and Walsingham. Some children also come from our neighbouring towns of Wells and Fakenham. Our pupils enjoy very small group teaching and learning and the expertise of visiting specialists in music and PE.
The classrooms are big and bright and are well resourced, catering for the different ages and abilities in eachof the classes.
We provide equal opportunities for all children and aim to ensure that individual needs are met. We help children make excellent progress in all areas of learning whether it is in maths or music, reading or writing. Our aim for all children when they leave our school is to ensure they are confident young people ready for the challenges facing them at High School.
